Settings

Your account, organisation, and privacy settings — all in one place.

Getting There

Open Dashboard → Settings from the sidebar. You'll see cards for each settings area.

Organisation

Your organisation name and your role (owner, admin, or member) are shown here. The organisation name appears on call transcripts and in your agent's greeting when it introduces your business.

Need to change your organisation name? Update it in the Business Profile card — it syncs automatically.

Business Profile

This is where your agent learns about your business. The profile includes:

  • Business name — What your agent calls your business on calls.
  • Industry / vertical — Helps the agent use the right language and handle common questions for your trade.
  • Address — Used for appointment scheduling and giving callers directions.
  • Business hours — Your agent knows when you're open vs after-hours, and adjusts its responses accordingly.
Keep your business profile up to date — your agent reads it on every call. If you move, change hours, or rebrand, update it here and the agent picks it up immediately.

SMS Notifications

Send requested information and support appointment messages with recorded consent for that booking or conversation. An inbound call alone is not blanket permission to text.

Go to Settings → SMS to configure:

  • Appointment confirmations — For bookings with recorded consent to receive confirmation messages.
  • Reminders — Use the agreed appointment timing and consent for that booking subject.
  • Requested information — Send the specific detail a caller asked for, with the request and purpose recorded.
Messages use an Infercall-controlled sender. Do not assume it is the same number as your voice line. Opt-outs and sending requirements apply. Automated Google review requests are off by default; a call or booking alone is not consent for a review request. This is not a bulk or cold-SMS service.

Read the SMS follow-up guide for consent, purpose and sending limits.

Billing

See your current plan and manage payment methods. The settings page shows your plan name — click through to Billing for full subscription management, invoices, and usage details.

For more detail, see the Billing & Plans guide.

Security

Your account security settings include:

  • Email address — The email tied to your account. This is where invoices, alerts, and login links go.
  • Sign-in method — Shows your Google account used for sign-in.

Data & Privacy

Control how your data is stored and managed. Go to Settings → Data & Privacy to:

  • Set data retention — Choose how long call recordings and transcripts are kept (30, 60, 90 days, or indefinitely).
  • Export your data — Download all your call records, transcripts, and account data.
  • Delete your account — Permanently remove your account and all associated data.
Account deletion is permanent. All call recordings, transcripts, agent configurations, and phone numbers will be removed and cannot be recovered.

AI Application Access

Owners and administrators can give a compatible AI application selected read-only access in Settings → AI application access.

  1. Name the application and select the information it may read.
  2. Choose an expiry and acknowledge the data-sharing notice.
  3. Save the one-time access key securely in your application. Do not share your Infercall password or ordinary sign-in token.
  4. Review connected applications here and remove access when it is no longer needed.

Compatible access-key clients use MCP at this site’s address followed by /api/mcp. Confirm that your chosen client supports the required connection method.

Call summaries may include customer information. Knowledge access lists source names and status, not document contents. The application cannot make calls, send messages or change your settings. Removing access does not remove copies it already received.

See the permissions and limits.

Where Are Agent Settings?

Voice, greeting, business hours, call handling rules, and other agent-specific settings are managed per agent in the Agents section, not here.

See the Managing Agents guide for details.
